Podensac is a commune in Gironde with 2,225 registered voters, the 99th largest of the département's 534 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 58.5% of them voted, close to the 58.7% across Gironde, and ENSEMBLE POUR PODENSAC won 18 of the council's 23 seats in the first round.
