About Parempuyre

Parempuyre is a commune in Gironde with 7,644 registered voters, the 30th largest of the département's 534 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 62.4% of them voted, more than the 58.7% across Gironde, and the list led by Henri Lagarrigue won 25 of the council's 33 seats after a second round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 27.3%, National Rally 26.2%, France Unbowed 20.3%.
