Cap d'Astarac is a commune in Gers with 388 registered voters, the 72nd largest of the département's 458 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 69.8% of them voted, more than the 66.1% across Gers, and CAP SUR L'AVENIR won 19 of the council's 19 seats in the first round.
