About Morlaix

Morlaix is a commune in Finistère with 10,456 registered voters, the 8th largest of the département's 276 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 55.9% of them voted, fewer than the 60.9% across Finistère, and Morlaix Ensemble won 28 of the council's 33 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 30.4%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 29.8%, National Rally 13.5%. National Rally did 10 points worse here than across France.

Moved to today's national polls, our projection for the 2027 first round here has Jean-Luc Mélenchon ahead on 23.5%, with Marine Le Pen on 23.2%.
