Château-sur-Epte is a commune in Eure with 487 registered voters, the 226th largest of the département's 584 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 78.2% of them voted, more than the 54.5% across Eure, and DU COEUR, DES ACTES, UN AVENIR COMMUN won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 42.2%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 18.5%, France Unbowed 12.9%. National Rally did 19 points better here than across France.
