Maîche is a commune in Doubs with 2,683 registered voters, the 18th largest of the département's 558 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 58.7% of them voted, more than the 56.3% across Doubs, and Pour Maîche, Le Nouveau Défi won 22 of the council's 27 seats in the first round.
