Champdeniers is a commune in Deux-Sèvres with 1,203 registered voters, the 55th largest of the département's 252 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 62.3% of them voted, more than the 57.3% across Deux-Sèvres, and CHAMPDENIERS 2035 won 16 of the council's 19 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 31.8%, National Rally 26.4%, France Unbowed 14.5%. France Unbowed did 8 points worse here than across France.
