Val des Vignes is a commune in Charente with 950 registered voters, the 57th largest of the département's 359 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 46.9% of them voted, fewer than the 57.7% across Charente, and ENERGIE NOUVELLE pour VAL DES VIGNES won 19 of the council's 19 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 28.9%, National Rally 27.9%, France Unbowed 15%. France Unbowed did 7 points worse here than across France.
