About Touvre
Touvre is a commune in Charente with 909 registered voters, the 59th largest of the département's 359 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 74.4% of them voted, more than the 57.7% across Charente, and TOUVRE ENSEMBLE won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 27.4%, National Rally 26.9%, France Unbowed 18.1%. France Unbowed did 4 points worse here than across France.
