Bedenac is a commune in Charente-Maritime with 398 registered voters, the 267th largest of the département's 462 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 78.4% of them voted, more than the 58.7% across Charente-Maritime, and Une liste, une commune, des projets won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 41.7%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 18%, France Unbowed 15.3%. National Rally did 18 points better here than across France.
