Vimont is a commune in Calvados with 578 registered voters, the 186th largest of the département's 526 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 49% of them voted, fewer than the 58.2% across Calvados, and Ensemble pour notre village won 15 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 35%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 24.1%, France Unbowed 17.4%. National Rally did 12 points better here than across France.
