Touques is a commune in Calvados with 2,708 registered voters, the 43rd largest of the département's 526 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 62.1% of them voted, more than the 58.2% across Calvados, and Mieux Vivre Touques Ensemble won 25 of the council's 27 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 34.9%, National Rally 24.5%, France Unbowed 13.3%. France Unbowed did 9 points worse here than across France.
