At the municipal election of March 2026 69.3% of them voted, more than the 55.8% across Bas-Rhin, and Hirschland, notre village, notre avenir won 11 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 35.4%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 19.1%, France Unbowed 10.1%. National Rally did 12 points better here than across France.
