Espalion is a commune in Aveyron with 3,692 registered voters, the 7th largest of the département's 284 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 71% of them voted, more than the 67.3% across Aveyron, and TOUS UNIS POUR ESPALION won 21 of the council's 27 seats in the first round.
