Saint-Papoul is a commune in Aude with 690 registered voters, the 85th largest of the département's 433 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 82% of them voted, more than the 64.6% across Aude, and Saint Papoul a des ailes won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 27.8%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 25.6%, France Unbowed 15.4%. France Unbowed did 7 points worse here than across France.
