Neufmanil is a commune in Ardennes with 852 registered voters, the 39th largest of the département's 446 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 66.5% of them voted, more than the 57.3% across Ardennes, and NEUFMANIL, LE CHANGEMENT! won 13 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 40.6%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 18.5%, France Unbowed 16.4%. National Rally did 17 points better here than across France.
