Château-Porcien is a commune in Ardennes with 831 registered voters, the 43rd largest of the département's 446 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 66.7% of them voted, more than the 57.3% across Ardennes, and CAP 2032 won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 42.4%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 25%, France Unbowed 9.3%. National Rally did 19 points better here than across France.
