At the municipal election of March 2026 74% of them voted, more than the 55.3% across Alpes-Maritimes, and VILLARS SUR VAR UNE HISTOIRE UN AVENIR won 14 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 36%, France Unbowed 21.3%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 13.7%. Ensemble (Macron camp) did 14 points worse here than across France.
