L'Escarène is a commune in Alpes-Maritimes with 2,137 registered voters, the 50th largest of the département's 163 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 71.3% of them voted, more than the 55.3% across Alpes-Maritimes, and L'Escarène, Notre Village won 18 of the council's 23 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 43.3%, Reconquête 14.3%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 12.8%. National Rally did 20 points better here than across France.
