Anizy-le-Grand is a commune in Aisne with 1,818 registered voters, the 21st largest of the département's 797 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 57.2% of them voted, close to the 56.3% across Aisne, and Anizy en grand, Anizy ensemble ! won 24 of the council's 27 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 40.8%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 20.2%, France Unbowed 15.5%. National Rally did 17 points better here than across France.
