Feillens is a commune in Ain with 2,713 registered voters, the 33rd largest of the département's 390 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 55.5% of them voted, more than the 52.5% across Ain, and FEILLENS DYNAMISME ET AMBITION won 21 of the council's 23 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 33%, National Rally 27.5%, France Unbowed 10.7%. France Unbowed did 11 points worse here than across France.
