About Alcañiz

Alcañiz is a municipality in the province of Teruel with 16,054 inhabitants, the 2nd largest of its 235 municipalities. Its council has 17 seats, and 9 make a majority to choose the mayor.

In May 2023 PP came first with 37.3% of the vote and 7 seats; PSOE was second with 6. 66.3% of the 11,366 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
