La Algaba is a municipality in the province of Sevilla with 16,491 inhabitants, the 24th largest of its 106 municipalities. Its council has 17 seats, and 9 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PSOE-A came first with 67.4% of the vote and 12 seats, an absolute majority; PP was second with 2. 62% of the 12,906 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
