Catoira is a municipality in the province of Pontevedra with 3,295 inhabitants, the 46th largest of its 61 municipalities. Its council has 11 seats, and 6 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 BNG came first with 48.9% of the vote and 6 seats, an absolute majority; PP was second with 3. 78.8% of the 2,809 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
On today's national polls our projection keeps BNG on 7 seats, a majority, which it holds in 100% of our simulations.
