Portomarín is a municipality in the province of Lugo with 1,352 inhabitants, the 51st largest of its 67 municipalities. Its council has 9 seats, and 5 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PP came first with 58.2% of the vote and 6 seats, an absolute majority; PSDEG-PSOE was second with 3. 86.1% of the 1,234 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
On today's national polls our projection keeps PP on 6 seats, a majority, which it holds in 98% of our simulations.
