Begonte is a municipality in the province of Lugo with 2,951 inhabitants, the 25th largest of its 67 municipalities. Its council has 11 seats, and 6 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PP came first with 77.3% of the vote and 9 seats, an absolute majority; PSDEG-PSOE was second with 1. 80.4% of the 2,653 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
On today's national polls our projection keeps PP on 9 seats, a majority, which it holds in 100% of our simulations.
