Puente de Génave is a municipality in the province of Jaén with 2,175 inhabitants, the 56th largest of its 97 municipalities. Its council has 11 seats, and 6 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 VOX came first with 49.2% of the vote and 6 seats, an absolute majority; PSOE was second with 4. 81.8% of the 1,679 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
