Vidreres is a municipality in the province of Girona with 8,167 inhabitants, the 24th largest of its 221 municipalities. Its council has 13 seats, and 7 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 CM came first with 54.7% of the vote and 8 seats, an absolute majority; AV - AM was second with 4. 49.4% of the 5,978 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
