About L'Escala

L'Escala is a municipality in the province of Girona with 10,520 inhabitants, the 20th largest of its 221 municipalities. Its council has 17 seats, and 9 make a majority to choose the mayor.

In May 2023 CP came first with 42.7% of the vote and 9 seats, an absolute majority; ERC - AM was second with 2. 48.3% of the 6,617 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
