Zizurkil is a municipality in the province of Gipuzkoa with 2,996 inhabitants, the 39th largest of its 88 municipalities. Its council has 11 seats, and 6 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 EH BILDU came first with 51% of the vote and 6 seats, an absolute majority; EAJ-PNV was second with 3. 57.5% of the 2,245 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
