Lemoa is a municipality in the province of Bizkaia with 3,530 inhabitants, the 43rd largest of its 112 municipalities. Its council has 11 seats, and 6 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 EAJ-PNV came first with 56.3% of the vote and 7 seats, an absolute majority; EH BILDU was second with 4. 69.8% of the 2,601 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
