Erandio is a municipality in the province of Bizkaia with 24,446 inhabitants, the 11th largest of its 112 municipalities. Its council has 21 seats, and 11 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 EAJ-PNV came first with 35.4% of the vote and 8 seats; EH BILDU was second with 6. 55.6% of the 19,035 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
