Sitges is a municipality in the province of Barcelona with 31,222 inhabitants, the 32nd largest of its 311 municipalities. Its council has 21 seats, and 11 make a majority to choose the mayor.

In May 2023 CM came first with 17.1% of the vote and 4 seats; ERC - AM was second with 4. 52.3% of the 20,925 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
