Masquefa is a municipality in the province of Barcelona with 9,744 inhabitants, the 89th largest of its 311 municipalities. Its council has 13 seats, and 7 make a majority to choose the mayor.

In May 2023 CM came first with 32% of the vote and 5 seats; CP was second with 4. 55.6% of the 7,475 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
