Monóvar/Monòver is a municipality in the province of Alicante/Alacant with 12,387 inhabitants, the 32nd largest of its 141 municipalities. Its council has 17 seats, and 9 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PSOE came first with 45.7% of the vote and 9 seats, an absolute majority; PP was second with 5. 66.2% of the 9,606 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
On today's national polls our projection keeps PSOE on 9 seats, a majority, which it holds in 53% of our simulations.
