Benissa is a municipality in the province of Alicante/Alacant with 11,871 inhabitants, the 34th largest of its 141 municipalities. Its council has 17 seats, and 9 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PP came first with 48.9% of the vote and 9 seats, an absolute majority; RB was second with 4. 53.6% of the 7,908 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
On today's national polls our projection keeps PP on 9 seats, a majority, which it holds in 81% of our simulations.
