Jouy-en-Josas is a commune in Yvelines with 4,969 registered voters, the 55th largest of the département's 259 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 62.9% of them voted, more than the 54.4% across Yvelines, and OSEZ LE CHANGEMENT ! won 22 of the council's 29 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 42.1%, France Unbowed 14.9%, Republicans 10.3%. National Rally did 15 points worse here than across France.
