At the municipal election of March 2026 42.2% of them voted, fewer than the 56.1% across Seine-Maritime, and LA GAUCHE RASSEMBLEE AGIR ET VIVRE A SAINT-ETIENNE-DU-ROUVRAY won 31 of the council's 35 seats in the first round.
