Wingles is a commune in Pas-de-Calais with 6,487 registered voters, the 32nd largest of the département's 886 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 54% of them voted, fewer than the 60.3% across Pas-de-Calais, and LE RENOUVEAU WINGLOIS won 22 of the council's 29 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 48.4%, France Unbowed 17.8%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 16.8%. National Rally did 25 points better here than across France.
