Josse is a commune in Landes with 700 registered voters, the 109th largest of the département's 327 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 61.1% of them voted, fewer than the 63.7% across Landes, and UNIS POUR JOSSE won 15 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 25.1%, National Rally 21.9%, France Unbowed 17.3%. Others did 10 points better here than across France.
