Le Saix is a commune in Hautes-Alpes with 106 registered voters, the 136th largest of the département's 162 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 58.5% of them voted, fewer than the 66.1% across Hautes-Alpes, and HORIZONS SAIX won 11 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 37.8%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 22%, National Rally 15.9%. France Unbowed did 16 points better here than across France.
