Viggianello is a commune in Corse-du-Sud with 679 registered voters, the 31st largest of the département's 124 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 67.9% of them voted, close to the 69.4% across Corse-du-Sud, and INSEMBU PÀ VIGHJANEDDU won 15 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 19.9%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 19.6%, Reconquête 15.5%. Others did 9 points better here than across France.
