Benalauría is a municipality in the province of Málaga with 434 inhabitants, the 90th largest of its 103 municipalities. Its council has 7 seats, and 4 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PP came first with 50.5% of the vote and 4 seats, an absolute majority; AEB was second with 2. 85.4% of the 383 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
