Cornellà del Terri is a municipality in the province of Girona with 2,407 inhabitants, the 58th largest of its 221 municipalities. Its council has 11 seats, and 6 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 CM came first with 63.1% of the vote and 7 seats, an absolute majority; CPC- ERC-AM was second with 4. 64.2% of the 1,780 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
