Quintanar del Rey is a municipality in the province of Cuenca with 7,632 inhabitants, the 3rd largest of its 238 municipalities. Its council has 13 seats, and 7 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PSOE came first with 53.3% of the vote and 7 seats, an absolute majority; PP was second with 5. 77.1% of the 5,124 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
On today's national polls our projection keeps PSOE on 7 seats, a majority, which it holds in 83% of our simulations.
