Castrojeriz is a municipality in the province of Burgos with 767 inhabitants, the 35th largest of its 367 municipalities. Its council has 7 seats, and 4 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PP came first with 57.9% of the vote and 4 seats, an absolute majority; PSOE was second with 3. 67.7% of the 674 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
