Parets del Vallès is a municipality in the province of Barcelona with 18,889 inhabitants, the 51st largest of its 311 municipalities. Its council has 17 seats, and 9 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 ERC - AM came first with 31.3% of the vote and 7 seats; PSC-CP was second with 7. 53.6% of the 14,429 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
