La Llagosta is a municipality in the province of Barcelona with 13,155 inhabitants, the 70th largest of its 311 municipalities. Its council has 17 seats, and 9 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PSC-CP came first with 66.6% of the vote and 13 seats, an absolute majority; LLEC - C was second with 2. 52.6% of the 9,547 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
