Illano is a municipality in the province of Asturias with 305 inhabitants, the 74th largest of its 78 municipalities. Its council has 7 seats, and 4 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PSOE came first with 48.4% of the vote and 4 seats, an absolute majority; ILLANO ADELANTE was second with 1. 82.3% of the 271 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
