Relleu is a municipality in the province of Alicante/Alacant with 1,171 inhabitants, the 88th largest of its 141 municipalities. Its council has 9 seats, and 5 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PP came first with 79.5% of the vote and 8 seats, an absolute majority; PSOE was second with 1. 79.8% of the 872 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
